September Popsugar Must Have Review

POPSUGAR sent me the September Must Have Box to try and once again I am really pleased with the contents. For those of you that don’t know, POPSUGAR Must Have Box is a monthly subscription box containing full-sized fashion, home and beauty products. While I love recieving beauty products, I can’t possibly use up all of the products I get, so it’s nice that this box has a variety of products and even edible treats! The boxes cost $39.95 and retail for over $100. Click here  if you’re interested in learning more.

img_5040This box included a few nice items, nothing I would consider “must have”, but definitely things that are nice to have.
Jack & Lucy Bicoastal Wide Brim Hat: I am not a hat person at all and was not the least bit excited about this when I saw the spoiler for it. When I got the box I immediately tried that hat on and my husband loved it! With his vote of confidence, I think I will try to wear this on a bad hair day 🙂
Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask: I received a sample size of this a few months back in the Sephora Play box but only recently got around to trying it out. I only used it once, but my hair seemed softer and fell really nicely- my husband even commented on how nice my hair looked. I’m looking forward to using this more regularly.
Smith & Cult The Shining Lip Lacquer: I don’t love lipgloss, but I like red ones since I’m afraid of too much color and lip glosses offer a hint of color without it being too overpowering. This one has gold shimmers which will I think will also help to make it not too bright.
NCLA Mani ER tool Kit: This is such a useful kit to throw in your purse or travel bag! Lately I’ve been getting a lot of hangnails so this kit would be very useful to help deal with those while on the go.
Flint Lint Roller: See what I mean by these items not really being “must have?”. While this isn’t the most exciting thing to get in a subscription box, it’s actually very useful and something I am in need of.
The Gluten Free Bites Dark Chocolate Coconut Bites: I like the combination of dark chocolate and coconut, so I have high hopes for these. In general I find gluten free things to be dry and not have the best texture, so I’m hoping the chocolate and coconut counteract that gluten free aspect.
Even though some of the items are not “must have”, I’m pretty happy with this box. The first big ticket items- hat and hair mask- are both things I wouldn’t buy for myself but I’m actually happy to have. I’ve been trying to put effort into my hair and these two items will definitely help with that.
Did you get this box? What do you think of it? Any items you’re hoping to get next month?
