Sephora VIB Sale Haul

Calling it a haul may be a bit misleading, as I only bought one thing! Actually, I bought two, but one is a Christmas gift for my mom so that doesn’t count 🙂 Keep on reading to find out what one item I just had to have from the sale, plus my thoughts on it!

Yup, I just had to have the Sephora Favorites Skin Wonderland Set. I am a sucker for the kits because I get tried of using the same products over and over again, and really enjoy trying new things. These kits are a great way to try popular products without breaking the bank. This set is just as good as the others I’ve gotten at exposing me to new brands but also including brands/products I’ve been wanting to try. Sephora says this kit has a value of $228, but by my calculations it is valued at $218, which is still amazing considering I paid $55 ($68-20%)!

Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter in Apricot Vanilla (2oz RV $8.75). Even though I’m not a huge fans of body lotions, I love the whipped texture of this and can see myself using this all winter.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream (1oz RV $5). I have more face moisturizers then I know what to do with, but this one has been raved about so many times, I just have to try it!

Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist (1oz RV $10.60). I haven’t tried a rosewater mist yet, in fact, I’m still unclear on what all the facial mists do…But this one comes highly rated and I love anything rose scented, so this is a welcome addition to  my skincare collection.

Fresh Soy Face Cleanser (0.68 oz RV $5). I recently finished a full size of this and really liked it. This little guy is perfect to throw in my travel bag since I will be traveling a lot over the next few months and like to take products I know I won’t have any reactions to.

Clarins Shaping Facial Lift Wrap (0.53oz RV $11.70). I have never tried anything from Clarins, but I’m intrigued by this cream-mousse face mask that relieves puffiness and redness- two things I suffer from.

Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliator  (0.5oz RV $17). For some reason, every time I get this in a set, I trade it or give it away. I must have tried it years ago and didn’t like it, but I think I’m going to give it another try. I love the Vasanti scrub and I hear this one is similar.

Caudalie Divine Oil (0.5oz RV $7.20). This oil is a big reason I got this set. I love how quickly the oil absorbs and the scent is amazing!

Ren Keep Young and Beautiful Instant Firming Beauty Shot (0.34oz RV $18). I actually have never tried anything from REN so I’m glad to have this chance.

Sunday Riley Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment (0.330z RV $35). I own a small one of these already and am careful not to use it too frequently so I don’t use it up..now I can! My face is brighter and has a glow after using this, however, it is very pricey and I don’t know that the effects are worth the high price. Hence why I love getting products like these in the sets!

NUDE Skincare ProGenius Omega Treatment Rescue Oil (0.33oz RV $22.67). I really like using oils as my nighttime treatment, and anything that promises to make my skin brighter and pores more refined is worth trying.

L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream (0.3oz RV $4). This is another product I’ve heard a lot about yet haven’t tried. My hands are already cracking from this cold, so this is not going to last long!

Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation (0.25oz RV $5.88). Again, I have a ton of moisturizers, but I’ve used this before and really liked how lightweight it is. This will be great for traveling.

Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm (0.23oz RV $29.95). I have serious dark circles and nothing every helps with that. However, I have heard great things about this brand in regards to older skin, so I think this may be able to help with my under eye circles and puffiness.

Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Medi-Spa Peel (1 treatment RV $6.89). I have never used an at-home peel, so this will be an adventure! Luckily, I don’t have sensitive skin so this should be fine to use.

Shiseido Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Pure Retinol Express Smoothing Eye Mask  (1 mask RV $17.5). I had this from a previous kit, but unfortunately it dried out so I only got one use out of it. Like all skincare, you can’t get an idea of how well it works with only one use, so I will be sure to use this soon and really get a feel for it.

SK-II Facial Treatment Mask (1 mask RV $13.5). I used this previously (here) and really enjoyed it. I loved the way my face looked after using it and would even consider spending $$ on it, so clearly I’m happy about getting another mask!
