Oops, I did it again. I bought another Sephora favorites kit. I needed this one though. I ran out of face wash while on the west coast, and I’m still here for another week. So I popped into Sephora to pick up the Sephora Favorites Cleansing Ritual To Go set so I could sample a few new washes, and get a replacement of one I already adore.
Boscia Detoxifying Black Cleanser: I haven’t used this one yet, but I’m intrigued by the warming feature. Plus, this one is said to “rinse away pore-clogging surface debris, impurities, and excess oil”, which reduces the appearance of pores. Lately, I’ve been extra aware of my pores, so anything to make them less noticeable is a plus.
Tata Harper Regenerating Cleanser: This is a light exfoliating cleanser that left my face feeling deep cleansed! The exfoliation is definitely gentle enough for every day use, but I am only using it a few times a week. After the first use, my complexion was brighter and smooth. I’m excited to see the results of continual use.
Origins Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash: A few years ago I cashed in 500 Sephora points to get an Origins set that included this face wash, and it was my favorite item in the bunch. It foams up so beautifully and has a great minty scent. Since it foams up so much, I find a little really goes a long way and therefore, this will last a very long time. After use my skin feels very clean and doesn’t feel dry or tight, which was an initial concern of mine due to the frothy nature of this.
Nude Skincare Perfect Cleanse: This was an interesting mix between a cleansing oil and balm. It has a thick oil (gel) like consistency which you massage onto dry skin. Then, using warm water, the gel turns into a milky cleanser. It cleaned really well, but left skin with a slightly oily residue. I didn’t mind since I always use a toner which helps to get rid of that residue. I’ve even read this can be used as a makeup remover, which I haven’t tried yet, but plan on trying it in the near future.
