The team at Popsugar generously sent me the January Must Have Box for review and I think this is my favorite box to date! The themes that helped inspire this box were new, fresh, detox, motivation, healthy and revitalize, and the curated items reflect that theme perfectly.
As always, they include a great info card detailing the use of each item.
First up is the Manduka eQua Mat towel (RV $38). This is a huge, soft yoga towel perfect for using on top of your yoga mat. Once you’re done working out, just toss it in the wash and it’s ready for the next use. I have a yoga towel already, so this is going to my husband who is always so jealous of mine.
I am a huge tea drinker, especially now that I’m cutting back on coffee, and I’m always looking for caffeine-free teas. The Peppermint Tea from Dean & Deluca is just what I need.
To kick off the new year, we received two cute office items. First is the Sourcebooks, Inc. Instant Happy notes (RV $9). These post-it notes come inspiration and funny quotes, making them perfect to throw into your planner or as a cute note for a coworker. The other office item in the box was the May Designs Desk Calendar (RV $25). The designs on this calendar are gorgeous and it will make a great addition to any desk. Plus, after the month is over, you can cut along the line and have a greeting card to send to a friend.
The beauty item we received this month is the Goldfaden MD Flash A Peel Multi Acid Resurfacing Peel (RV $85). This was the big ticket item this month (it alone is worth double what the box costs), and for good reason. This natural peel uses fruit acids to remove dead skin leaving a brighter and more even complexion in under 3 minutes. I used it as soon as I got it, and while my face isn’t sensitive, I don’t use peels often, so I was only able to use it for 1 minute, but I got immediate results and my moisturize absorbed so quickly after use. I am thrilled with this product.
The final item of the box was the Daily Concepts Your Hair Wrap towel (RV $18). This microfiber towel wraps around your hair to keep it put while it dries, while also combating frizziness. I am excited to use this since I run around the house with my hair in a towel all the time and it never stays put. It also comes with a travel pouch if you decide you cannot dry your hair without this.
Our special extra this month was the Glade No 3 Coconut and Beach Woods Candle (RV $4). I love this candle. Not only does it look much more expensive than $4, I’m sure without the branding it could sell for $15, but it smells amazing! It smells lightly coconutty to me, and just reminds me hot summer days spent at the beach. I have it sitting unburned in my office and my entire office smells fantastic.
