Between shopping my stash and receiving a lovely gift from a blogger friend, I have quite a few new makeup products I get to test in the coming months. I decided to try out four products covering different aspects of makeup: foundation, bronzer, blush and bronzer.
Looking at them now, they seem very well suited for summer, so it’s a good thing it’s finally sunny in the Bay Area again! I love bronzer and I’m so excited to finally test the Bourjois Delice De Poudre Bronzing Powder. This is a chocolate-scented bronzer that is really popular in the UK, so I was so happy to get my hands on it here in the US. It is not too dark which means it is perfect to build up the color.
I received this Physicians Formula Cushion Foundation from Andrea over at PhD Fashionista during our Christmas swap. I had never used a cushion foundation before but have been seeing them everywhere, so I was thrilled to sample this. This is actually a super easy to use foundation since it comes with a sponge and it’s really hard to over-do it and get too much product. The color works for me in the winter, but once I get a little color (which will happen as soon as I spend even a minute in the sun), this color will unfortunately be a little too light for me.
The Arrow Revive Cooing Cheek Tint came in a Birchbox a few months ago but I am only now getting around to using it. This product to perfect to wear with a light bb cream when I don’t want a full face of makeup and just want a flush of color. This is great because it blends nicely and easily to just give a light wash of color.
The Bare Minerals bareSkin Sheer Sun Serum Bronzer was featured in a Sephora Favorites box over the summer, so it is very fitting for the spring/ summer months. I have never used a liquid bronzer before, but I do enjoy cream products in the warmer months so I am excited to give this a try.
