You may have noticed I’ve been absent for a few weeks. I had a frustrating situation with a brand, and it put me off blogging for a bit. But then I thought about all the wonderful brands I’ve had the pleasure of working with, and I was re-inspired. Plus, I didn’t start this blog for the free products, I do it because I really love all things beauty and want to share my thoughts and opinions with all of you.
With the warm weather, I don’t see the point in wearing too much makeup since it usually just melts off. This month, I have enjoyed going mostly makeup free, with the exception of these four products.
This color was described as a “soft cool red with blue undertones”, but luckily on me, it is definitely more of a rosy-pink than red, but that is right up my alley. It is also surprisingly moisturizing so it doesn’t cause your lips to chap. Out of all my lip products, this is the one that gets used the most.
This blush/highlighter duo has a cream blush on one end, and a cream highlighter on the other. The blush is a perfect rose-coral color and leaves my cheeks looking perfectly flushed. The highlighter has a pink tint to it which is great on my skin, it makes it much easier to blend. Since these are cream products they can easily be built up so you can have varying degrees of color. Both the products have a great consistency that are perfect for the dry winter months or the humid summer ones.
The matte tint contains SPF 30 and protects and perfects your complexion using two skin-safe mineral sunblocks. This moisturizing base ensures a smooth, even application, and the subtle beige tint evens out skin tone and masks flaws. I have been using it as primer prior to applying foundation, and the matte finish is perfect for keeping oils at bay.
