Maison Caulières Perfumed Bath Oil Review

IMG_1891

I received the Maison Caulières Perfumed Bath Oil in the Birchbox Vanity Affair box (reviewed here) in December. This is one of the products in the box that I was excited about, but it wouldn’t have been a deal breaker if this wasn’t in the box.

However, I feel in love with it as soon as I removed it from the box. It is so beautiful with dried flower petals floating in the bottle. It has a light floral scent that is just enough- not too strong to be overpowering but strong enough that the scent lingers on your skin for a while after the bath.

You only need a little bit in the bath, I didn’t measure but other reviews have suggested about a capful, so while this is quite expensive, it will last a while. There’s something about soaking in a baht with flower petals floating around that feels so luxurious! After the bath, your skin is left soft and smooth, but not oily like you would expect from a bath oil.

While I am happy to have received this product in the Vanity Affair box, I don’t think I would go out and buy this when I run out. My skin feels and smells great, but I’m a bubble bath kind of girl- I like being covered in bubbles in the bath! For those of you who like soaks, but don’t like bubbles, this is the product for you!

Have you tried this? What are you thoughts?
