January Empties

IMG_1963

I can’t believe January is already over! This month has gone by so fast and I’m sure the following months will fly by as well!

I have been making an active effort to finish up more products. In the past, I have used something until it was almost finished (~75%!) and then just moved onto another product. Not anymore! Now, I will finish it even if I don’t love it, then I can move onto another product that I do love!

Unfortuantly, I didn’t finish a ton this month, but as long as I’m getting some empties I’m happy 🙂

bliss paraben free lemon+sage body butter. This is the second time I have used this- both times I got it as a gift with purchase. I like this product- it’s moisturizing and has a nice lemon scent to it. I’m not a big lotion person so I would probably never spend so much money on it, but I’m happy to get the samples

Josie Maran 100 percent Pure Argan Oil. This oil appears in most of the Sephora Favorites sets and you know I have an addiction to those, so needless to say I have quite a few of these oils. I think it’s one of my favorites though. I only use it at night for few of being oily during the day, but it moisturizes so well! I use it either alone or I add a few drops into my moisturizer before bed. I have a bottle of the “light” version now so I’ll see how the two compare.

Yes to Grapefruit Correct & Repair Brightening Facial Towelette. Remember last year when the Yes To Black Friday deals was $2 for everything? Well I went crazy and bought about 8 packs of the wipes in all the different varieties- cucumber, tomato, grapefruit and blueberry. I’ve used all now, and I like the blueberry or cucumber the best. I love these wipes because I’m lazy at night and at least I feel ok after using thee because I put in some effort to remove my makeup.

Kiehl’s Creme de Corps Soy Milk & Honey Whipped Body Butter. I got this from my Cyber Monday order (here) and used it within a week of receiving it! Because it is a whipped body butter, it is extremely lightweight and airy, and yet very moisturizing. It also has a great honey scent!

beautyblender the original beautyblender. I’m not always the best when it comes to cleaning makeup brushes and my beautyblender had foundation spots that just wouldn’t come out, so I decided to toss it. I mentioned here just now much I love it and that hasn’t changed. To sum it up, my makeup applies flawlessly and naturally with the beautyblender.

Le Metier de Beaute Daily Refresh Toner. (I decanted this into a smaller bottle for travel) I got this in my Le Metier de Beaute VIP box last year and it lasted a very long time! I actually didn’t care for it so I was happy to (finally) finish it. I know it says alcohol free, but it had a strong alcohol scent which I didn’t like.

In addition to these full size/deluxe size products, I managed to get through 7 foils. I will not go through them all, but I want to mention the L’occitane moisturizers which were heavenly. Lightweight, moisturizing and my husband who’s very picky about scents commented on how great they smell. Win! Also, I finally got to try the kiehl’s creme de corps body lotion and it was great! The last stand out product was the dermalogica daily microfoliant. I will do a full post on this soon, but for now I will say it is amazing!

How did you do with empties this month?
