February Empties

I’m trying really hard to whittle down my stash, so I’ve been trying to use foils more frequently. I used to reserve them for travel, but with my husband and I working so much, we don’t really travel much anymore. Therefore, I’ve been integrating the foils with my normal skin care routine. Even with my conscious efforts to use more products, I didn’t really make a big dent in my stash this month. Hopefully I do better next month!

Yes to Cucumbers Travel Facial Wipes. Oh how I love my wipes. I’m so tried by the end of the day, I don’t want to spend precious moments washing my face. So I quickly grab a wipe and remove all the day’s makeup and grime. I try not to use these more than 4 times a week, so I do wash my face the traditional way too! I think out of all the Yes To wipes, the cucumber ones are  my fave.

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant. I was fortunate to receive a few sample packs of this, and sadly these were my last few. I already reviewed this here, so I won’t go into it again.  But, I love it and can’t wait to use up my current exfoliators and purchase this one!

Philosophy Back to Nurture moisturizer. When it comes to moisturizer, I don’t use anything fancy. I heard from a dermatologist friend that the best moisturizer to use is CeraVe, so I’ve stuck with that for the past 5 years or so. And I don’t just use it on my face- it’s my everywhere moisturizer. So it’s always a treat to try a fancy moisturizer, like this new one from Philosophy. This moisturizer was so light, yet efficient. It felt wonderful going on and left my skin looking amazing. My skin actually started to look more radiant after just a few days using this. This may break me from my CeraVe obsession 🙂

Benefit They’re Real Mascara. I love this mascara (read about  my love here or here). But, I try to stick to the 3-month rule so I don’t get any eye infections. Therefore, it was time to toss this one and try a new one. Right now I’m using one from clinique.

Jouer Anti-Blemish Matte Primer. I got this as a free sample when I bought the Jouer+Beauty Blender set from Birchbox (here). I thought this was a nice primer that helped the Jouer Matte Moisture tint apply nicely, but it’s not the best primer I’ve used. I would not purchase the full size of this.

As you can see, I didn’t make a huge dent but I think any progress is great, so I’m happy with this month. How did you do with empties this month?
