PR Samples from Derma E. All opinions are my own.
I was so pleasantly surprised when I came home from a frustrating day at work to a lovely package from the team at Derma E. I have been using their products for the past 3 years, and I fall more and more in love with the brand with every new item I try. If you haven’t seen my previous reviews, you can find them here, here and here.
Derma e is one of the largest natural skin care brands in the US, and their products are paraben and cruelty-free, and made of the highest quality ingredients. Since starting in 1984, derma e has expanded to include over 80 unique face care, body care and treatment items enriched with healthy vitamins and antioxidants to address various skin types and concerns. By using advanced skincare technology to combine vitamins, botanicals and antioxidants, derma e is able to produce concentrated skincare products that actually work.
I was sent two products from their Essentials line: the Nourishing Rose Cleansing Oil and the Microdermabrasion Scrub. This new line of Essentials are must-haves for every beauty routine. These essentials consist of innovative, beauty inspired, forward trending products that are compatible with all of our other collections.
I have used the Microdermabrasion Scrub before, and love it! The fine scrubbing particles in the scrub were not harsh on my face yet still manage to leave my skin extremely soft and smooth. Not only that, but my complexion appears brighter and more even after use. The fresh lemon scent is really nice, and one of my favorite features of this scrub. The directions say to use 2 times per week, but since my skin isn’t sensitive, I’ve upped it to 3 times per week to keep my complexion smooth. This scrub will give you the same bright, even and smooth complexion you get from a spa facial, but without the hefty price-tag or inconvenience.
I was excited to try the Nourishing Rose Cleansing Oil, which is a rinse-free cleansing oil that “leaves your skin feeling superbly moisturized, along with an improved soft and dewy appearance”. It smells amazing, but I am biased since I love rose-anything. I really like the idea of cleansing oils since they remove makeup without any harmful scrubbing, and I’ve also recently learned they’re great for oily skin since it breaks up the sebum well.
I’ve used this Rose Oil for the past 2 weeks, and I really like it- it does a great job at removing my makeup, even my waterproof mascara. Even though it is tough on mascara, it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry in the slightest, in fact, my skin feels soft and moisturized. This is another winner from Derma E.
Have you used any Derma E products? If so, which are your favorites?
