When I first started getting serious about skincare, I bought a few discovery kits from Sephora in order to be exposed to new (or at least new to me) brands and products. One of the brands I learned about through these kits was Ole Henriksen. His truth serum had been on my radar since it seems to be a very popular product , but I hadn’t actually used it before.
I decided to purchase a few different skincare sets that included Ole Henriksen products in order to really get to know the brand. The products I’ve used are the Invigorating Night Treatment, Truth Serum Collagen Booster, Lemon Strip Flash Peel, Pure Truth Youth Activating Oil and Sheer Transformation.
Truth Serum Collagen Booster I tried this in the past, before I really cared about skincare so I took time to really use this product again. With continued use, my skin was softer and brighter, and some of my acne scarring faded.
Pure Truth Youth Activating Oil I use this oil after the Truth Serum for an extra boost. It has an orange tint to it, so I only use it at night just in case it makes my skin orange. Use this combination, I wake up with glowing skin and don’t have to use as much foundation.
The Sheer Transformation lotion is really lightweight and absorbs quickly into the skin, so I can also easily use this during the day under my makeup. A little goes a long way, so it doesn’t take a lot of product to leave your entire face moisturized.
I find that the Invigorating Night Treatment dries out my skin a bit, so I only use this every other night. The results from this treatment were immediate, after just one use my skin is more radiant and any pesky bumps and blackheads are gone.
The Lemon Strip Flash Peel is a one-step natural acid peel that removes dead skin cells, softens fine lines and reduces the appearance of fine lines. I have used this peel semi-regularly over the past few months and I definitely notice it does an amazing job getting rid of dead skin cells which leaves my skin noticeably brighter. Does it reduce pores and fine lines? Not that I see, but other reviews claim it does! One word of caution, it does sting when used, so if you have sensitive skin, you may want to use it for less time initially.
All in all, I love all of the products I’ve tried from Ole Henriksen. Do you have any favorite OH products?
