Best Foundation for Flawless Skin

IMG_2009

I’ve mentioned the JJouer Matte Moisture Tint a few times (here and here), and also did a review on it, but I figured it was time to update it now that I’ve had over a year to use it.

I will start by saying I love this stuff. I tried samples of it in the past from Birchbox, and finally bit the bullet and actually bought a full size. I got it about a year ago and used it every day for a few months, until only recently set it aside for a lighter winter shade.

I got the matte version as opposed to the luminizing version. I have oily skin and I was afraid the lumunizing one would exaggerate that. The matte one has been great for that, and even in the winter it doesn’t make my skin look dry. However, the reviews of the LMT are great, so I may eventually try that one out when my skin looks dull.

The lightweight formula doesn’t feel heavy on the skin, yet it still manages to cover imperfections. I don’t like heavy makeup and this feels and looks natural, while hiding blemishes. Depending on how my skin looks, I sometimes add a second layer to certain places (specifically my cheeks), and it still doesn’t look caked on which is amazing.  I apply it with the beauty blender which definitely contributes to the natural look. I find that since not much is required to cover your entire face, the tube will last a while!

This is probably me being crazy, but I feel like it’s good for my skin! Since it’s lightweight my skin can still breath so I don’t get breakouts. And the tint has SPF so even though there’s not much sun in the Northeast, my skin is protected from whatever rays make it down.

This has remained at the top of my list of favorite  face products since I first bought it. It has been great for my skin in all seasons and continues to leave my skin looking healthy and blemish-free.

  • I’ve heard a lot of great reviews for this foundation so I’ll need to give this a try one day. 🙂

    • You should! I would love to here your thoughts on it!
