I got home from a two-week trip in Israel to find the most beautiful Birchbox in my mailbox waiting for me. I think Rifle Paper Co. makes the most beautiful products and I am so happy they partnered with Birchbox again to create this floral and springy box. The perfect box for storing extra products on my nightstand!
I totally lucked out this month and got 7 products that I was able to review for 70 points! There’s also a coupon code for 20% off Rifle Paper Co…may have to buy a few notebooks 🙂
As you can see, I was so excited to try out these products I opened them before I had the chance to photograph them. The Davines All in One Milk was the main sample and the shampoo and conditioner were extras (that I still got points for!). I’m glad o get to try them all together as they have positive reviews. I’ve only used them once, but my hair looks amazing and feels so soft!
The sample of Au Naturale Cosmetics trio is itty-bitty! When I saw I was getting this in my box (yes, I peeked. I always peek), I was excited as the products look really nice and I’m trying to use more natural products. However, the sample is so small, I’m not even sure how to use it! I haven’t decided how I’m even going to swatch the products as my finger is bigger than the sample pot…But the colors seem like a good match for me, the lipstick is much brighter than I use, but I’ve used fuchsia before and been pleasantly surprised.
The next same I received was the Dr. Jart+ Liftra Countour Cream. I don’t know what a contour cream is, but anything that promises to make skin more firm is worth testing! Plus, I already like the brand as I’ve had the chance to try a few products from them, so I’m excited to try a unique product from them.
Next, I got The Beauty Crop PBJ Smoothie Stick, which is an PB&J scented lip crayon (yum!). I think lip crayons are the best thing ever- they apply so easily and are usually more moisturizing than lipsticks. This one has great reviews that makes me think this will soon become a go-to of mine.
Last, but not least, I received the English Laundry Notting Hill perfume. I actually have a whole collection of perfumes that I love, so I usually pass any samples along to my sister. This one is described as fresh and classic, with a musky undertones, which is intriguing enough for me to try it out.
Once again, I lucked out and got a great box! I’m actually trying to whittle down my makeup collection while upping my skincare and haircare game, so this box could not have been more perfect! What did you get this month?
