3 Must-Have Exfoliators to Add to Your Collection

exfoliators

I have always been a big fan of exfoliation, especially in the winter when my skin is dry, flaky and dull. For as long as I can remember, I used the St. Ives Apricot Scrub but a few years ago, I got a facial and found out that scrub is very bad for the skin because the beads are all different sizes. Since then I have been trying to find a new exfoliator and, luckily Birchbox has let me sample quite a few of them. Out of all the ones I sampled I have picked three that I absolutely adore and can’t get enough of. In fact one of them I have traded for so many times, that at any given time I have at least five sample tubes of it. Another one I own the full-size of and the minute I run out I will run to the nearest Target to purchase it again. Read on to learn more about my three must-have exfoliators.

dermae-microdermabrasion3

One exfoliator that I’ve been using religiously is the dermaE Microdermabrasion Scrub. This exfoliator claims to “diminish the look of fine lines, wrinkles and acne scars and leave skin looking radiant”. I find that this is all true- my skin definitely looks more clear and brighter after I use this. It contains very fine particles that are really gentle on the skin, gentle enough that I am able to use this 2-3 times per well. Another bonus is that this brand is all natural and paraben free, which is greet for those of you switching to an all natural skincare routine. This brand is also super affordable and can be found at Ulta or Target.
vasanti-brightenup

The Vasanti Brighten Up! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator Scrub I have talked about time and time again and there’s a reason that I’m still talking about it. This is the one I sampled through Birchbox, and haven’t been without it since. This one uses a combination of papaya enzymes and microderm crystals for exfoliation. After use, my skin looks and feels smooth and brighter. It really does remove top layer of dead skin cells to uncover a new level of skin cells. I’ve found that this is even more gentle than the dermaE and I’ve been able to use it up to 5 times a week.

tata-harper

Finally we have the Tata Harper Regenerating Cleanser, which is a daily exfoliating cleanser. I received this in a Sephora skincare kit a few months ago and instantly fell in love. This is a four in one cleaner that purifies, minimizes the appearance of pores, improve glow and protects the skin’s hydration balance. Similar to Vasanti, this also uses a combination of enzymes and microbeads for exfoliation. This one is so gentle, it can easily be used every day. This one has a pretty strong fruity scent, so you might want to avoid this if you’re particularly sensitive to scents.

Have you tried any of these exfoliators? If so, what are your thoughts? If you haven’t, which exfoliators do you recommend?
