derma e Skincare Review

The lovely staff at derma e skincare generously sent me of their products. derma e uses advanced skincare technology to combine vitamins, botanicals and antioxidants to produce concentrated skincare products that actually work. Plus, they do all they with all natural ingredients. There are different lines depending on your skin needs: anti-wrinkle, hydrating, firming, etc. I received the Microdermabrasion Scrub from the Age-defying line, and the Anti-Wrinkle Vitamin A Glycolic Toner from the Anti-Wrinkle line.
The Age-Defying line contains a unique combination of antioxidants to diminish the appearance of signs of aging caused from stress, sun and other environmental factors. I used to think if the exfoliation wasn’t painful, it must not have been working. Therefore, I was dubious that the fine scrubbing particles in the Microdermabrasion Scrub would actually do anything. Oh was I wrong! The fine scrubbing particles were not harsh on my face yet still manage to leave my skin extremely soft and smooth. Not only that, but my complexion appears brighter and more even after use. The fresh lemon scent is lovely and reminds me of the Suki Exfoliate Foaming Cleanser. The directions say to use 2 times per week, but since my skin isn’t sensitive and isn’t reacting badly to this, I’ve upped it to 3 times per week to keep my complexion smooth. This scrub will give you the same bright, even and smooth complexion you get from a spa facial, but without the hefty price-tag or inconvenience.

The Anti-Wrinkle line contains Vitamin A which helps to increase cellular turnover and reveal a healthy and brighter complexion. The Anti-Wrinkle Toner toner came at the perfect time as I had just run out of my beloved Liz Earle Toner and was in desperate need of a new one. I have been suffering from small breakouts after using something my skin didn’t love, and within days of using this everything has cleared up! As with all toners, I apply it to a cotton square and apply to my face in an upward direction. It removes all traces of makeup and dirt left behind by  my cleanser, and is alcohol free so it’s refreshing and  doesn’t dry out my skin.

I had previously used the derma e Anti-Wrinkle Vitamin A Glycolic Cleanser and loved the fresh scent and it’s cleaning ability. Therefore, I had high hopes for these products but knew that meant there was a good chance of being disappoint. I’m happy to say the products live up to the hype and I can’t wait to try more products from the other lines.
